Where: Aqua Fria National Monument. Backpack along the Aqua Fria River from Badger Springs<\/p>\n

When: January 20-21, 2018.<\/p>\n

Depart Saturday at 7:30 AM from Madison #1 parking lot. Plan on
\nreturning Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Info: A 5 to 6 mile overnight hike in the Aqua Fria National Monument. We will backpack from Badger Springs along the Aqua Fria to a water and set up camp. We will than take a day hike up Baby Canyon along Bishop Creek to explore several Hohokam ruins. Hike up to Perry Mesa and walk along the ridge before dropping back down to our Aqua Fria campsite. Expect
\na relatively easy to moderate hike. Be prepared to get your feet wet.<\/p>\n
